Dear TAP PPTPs,

It's that time again!  TAP Partners submitted their list of invitees for TAP Dance 2012 and personal invitation were mailed the first week of December.

Are you one of the lucky that have been invited by a TAP Partner?  If so, congratulations!  Please know that in 2012 we will be limiting the number of pods from any one area (except the host community) in an effort to provide more tour options for the Partners.  This event is so unique that we anticipate selling out quickly and encourage you to submit as soon as possible.  Registration is only accepted via mail and is date stamped upon arrival.

New in 2012 are more opportunities for networking with the adjustment of our BET on TAP showcase to be a larger format and a post fam that allows for TAP tour operators and PPTPs to enjoy together.  The TAP Marketplace will focus on bringing in local travel professionals with our TAP travel buyers to showcase PPTP and TAP Partner product.  The key is to sign up when you send in your registration so you can be included.  We are also developing a TAP Dance 101 to be hosted by TAP Partners, staff and the host community with the goal of educating PPTPs how to make the most of TAP Dance.   

If you were not invited, you are still able to participate through either sponsoring an event at TAP Dance or through becoming a Guild Member. If approved, the official invitation will be extended and the same rules apply for all delegates - first come, first served. On behalf of our 34 TAP Partners, we hope to see you at TAP Dance 2012 where the Shreveport- Bossier team has been working hard to ensure the event is one for the record book.  You might recall the highlights of TAP Dance 2011 in Louisville where we had our own song created by the fine vocal talent of Cat's Pajamas Vocal Band (link through to watch!), incredible feedback from appointment sessions and our final dinner interruption of the tornado warning and evacuation.  Shreveport-Bossier is ready to take TAP Dance by storm in June!
